Puri Saraswati Bungalows is
located in the center of Ubud. Puri Saraswati Bun galow
is an intimate resort and has 18 rooms located in the center
of Ubud is newly renovated inside and out. Great care was
taken to retain the traditional Balinese architecture and
lush gardens, well known trademarks of this property. New
rooms are beautifully furnished and are air conditioned or
have ceiling fans and fresh breezes. Bathrooms are either
marble or terrazzo. Every room has its own large, private
veranda. The pool is inviting and cold drinks are served poolside
or directly to rooms.
The Bungalows are set back from the street in a tranquil and
serene garden. It is hard to believe that Ubuds activity is
so close to these quiet and calm surroundings.
Puri Saraswati Bungalow has served guests for over 25 years.
This very special hotel remains a part of the Ubud Royal Palace
property and today three generations of the royal family make
their home on the grounds. Guests will see authentic Balinese
ceremony and ritual as family and friends come and go. It
is very possible they will be invited to participate in temple
ceremonies with the family.
And at the B ungalows,
activities vary from day to day. One day it will be carvers
creating masks for the mystical barong; another day artisans
will be detailing newly created gamelan instruments; or perhaps
gala preparations for a temple ceremony could be in process.
Guests are surrounded by Balinese art, culture and tradition.
At Puri Saraswati Bungalows it is all part of a normal day.
The Bungalows have never been separated from the old, traditional
Balinese life and guests can be as much a part of this as
they choose, perhaps as an observer, perhaps as a participant.
